Dr. Miles Jones Lecture on Mt. Sinai: Part 1

Presentation by Dr. Miles Jones on Mount Sinai. Held at Holiday Inn North, Abilene, TX on May 24th, 2023.

Note: You will notice that Dr. Miles Jones has, throughout his presentations, engaged in one of the various popular contemporary pronunciations of the holy 4-letter Name which is represented by the Hebrew letters Yud-Heh-Vav-Heh. We at Roeh Israel do not permit anyone to engage in any of the multiple modern attempts to pronounce the holy Name. The correct pronunciation was lost to antiquity several thousand years ago, and the vowel-pointing found in certain texts associated with the Name was emplaced with the specific intention of frustrating any proper pronunciation. We believe the proper pronunciation is not lost to G-d, and will be restored when Messiah reigns upon David's throne. At that time such pronunciation will not only accurate, but will be used at the proper time and in the proper manner. In the meantime, we find any attempted pronunciation to be not only offensive but also a product of personal pride, both of which are contrary to Scripture. However, we found sufficient value in other aspects of Dr. Jones' presentation to record it, and provide it to you as part of our ministry to the world. You should know that Rabbi Ledbetter explained to Dr. Jones at length why his attempted pronunciation was erroneous and offensive before Dr. Jones began his presentations.
