The Torah Pathway

A path for anyone curious about Torah and unsure where to begin. Walk it at your own pace.

נֵר־לְרַגְלִי דְבָרֶךָ וְאוֹר לִנְתִיבָתִי

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

Psalm 119:105
  1. What Torah actually is

Not a weight to carry. A light to walk by.

Most people meet the word Torah as a synonym for law, and assume what follows is a list of rules and the burden of keeping them.

That is not how it is held here. Torah means instruction. It is a source of guidance and wisdom, given to enrich a life rather than to weigh it down.

Changing that perception is, in the congregation's own words, its vision.

  2. Torah and Messiah together

Not a choice between two things.

Many people arrive believing they must pick a side: keep Torah, or follow Messiah.

We do not believe those are mutually exclusive choices. Torah and Messiah coexist, and each completes the other in the life of a believer.

That conviction is why our services use liturgy from a Jewish Siddur while holding that Yeshua is the promised Messiah.

  3. Where to go next

The path continues past this page.

This week has a Torah portion waiting, and there are years of teaching already recorded.

If you would rather simply come and see, we meet each Shabbat morning, and you are welcome exactly as you are.
